Nukkekoti Doll's house

When I was young, everyone had a lundby doll's house, with a big living room and a mezzanine etc. I wanted on as well, and kept pestering my dad, until he promised one for Xmas. Come christmas, we did get a doll's house, but not the one everyone else had. I was a bit disappointed, but now I'm happy! The Lundby wouldn't have survived our rough playing, but this one did. My mum found and redecorated it for Emmi's 2nd birthday. The house is now home to Peppa Pig, Suzie Sheep and numerous Barbapapa's who are occasionally visited by some Legomen. Below are some tasters...

Mansikoita / Strawberries

It's time to start preparing for the winter... 5kg of strawberries to be frozen. Well, maybe 1 kg has already been eaten...

Tämä on nyt Haniaa. Yleensä en ole lajista paljon piitannut, mutta nyt päätin tehdä kokeilun, ja pakastaa kahta lajiketta, ja vertailla sitten talvella. Viikonloppuna siis Polkaa työn alle. Mutta sillä välin nautitaan näistä...

And while the camera and tripod were out, I tried some funky pictures with still legos and quicksilver kiddie. I'm celebrating that the little one seems to like legos and building stuff, it looks promising for my plans of endless craft sessions together. Although I guess most kids like legos?

Gifts actually in use

These get to go out a lot, unlike a lot of my knitting.
This is another thing to be grateful about. Namely I've started to list things I'm grateful about every day, in order to start enjoying them instead of always wanting more. And just to be generally a better person!

1. Most nights we actually sleep quite well nowadays.
2. My wonderful husband
3. My bike - cycling to work every morning is fun.
